   "In conclusion, I support the formation of the Westwood Neighborhood Council and I specifically request that you not accept the personal and false accusations that are being made against the formation committee of the Westwood Neighborhood Council.  This organization intends to represent not only the single family home owners, but the renters that make up a large percentage of the population.  They also will encompass the business owners within the borders. 

     I urge the approval of their charter in accordance with the law.  We may very well end up with a better city as a result of this organization.

Agenda Item 11 – Westwood Neighborhood Council Formation – Motion: North Central Valley NC supports the process and the right to form a Neighborhood Council with the approval of BONC and DONE. Motion passed 9-0-0.

 B      Request VNC Recommend BONC Certification of Neighborhood Council in Westwood

A group of people are forming a new Neighborhood Council in Westwood and would like to be on the agenda to ask the VNC Board to support for their. Part of the process for Certification is that applicants need to show support from other Councils in their area. This group's bylaws have been approved by DONE and they should be appearing before BONC in December.
